Blowpipe-Pistol / Blowpipe-Applicator
These TELINJECT products enjoy lasting popularity, despite – or perhaps because of – their very simple construction. They are usually used when a blowpipe is not quite powerful enough, but the use of much higher performance equipment is not necessary. They are favored for use in zoos, animal parks, and wild game reserves.
The instrument itself is constructed from a pressure resistant, easy to care for pistol grip, and a 80 cm long barrel constructed out of carbon fiber. A quick-release coupler allows for the quick re-attachment of the foot air pump, which makes for very economically favorable operation. It is also possible use a CO2 cartridge for more comfortable use.
The pressure development can be followed on a built-in pressure gage. The maximum pressure allows a shot distance of 20- 25 m, depending on the conditions at the location of the shot and the competence of the user.
The construction, which attaches the body and handle of a pistol to the shaft, improves the stability and control of the device, allowing for more precise shots.
