Sender Injections
To successfully track an anesthetized animal after an injection, an anesthesia-filled VARIO syringe (S300VS) can have a sender (TM3S oder TM3SS) attached.
So that the sender does not fall off on impact or become shaken off as the animal flees, a special cannule with (Spezialraste*) (K2040VRS or similar) is used.
The sender transmits a signal from its antenna in a frequency of 142 – 230 MHz. The coin cell battery provides 1.4 V of power for approximately 24 hours- more than enough time to find the animal.

Receiver
The 3-channel Receiver TRX-3S receives the signal of the sender over a collapsible loop antenna, and makes the location of the anesthetized animal possible.
